The MWR Final Exam is the cumulative capstone assessment for the Major World Religions track, required for students pursuing the Ministerial Ordination Program. Drawing on material from all nine MWR courses — Judaism, Christianity, Roman Catholicism, Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism, Taoism, Jehovah’s Witnesses, and Mormonism — it evaluates your grasp of each tradition’s history, core beliefs, and practices, along with your ability to compare and contrast them from a Biblically grounded perspective. The exam consists of 25 objective questions (single choice and true/false) covering the full breadth of the track, plus 5 discussion questions asking you to explain key concepts and provide Biblical refutation in your own words. It is open-book and untimed. Your objective-question score and discussion-question score combine into a single final grade, with 70% or higher required to pass and fulfill the Major World Religions requirement of the Ministerial Ordination Program.

What is Prerequisite coursesA prerequisite is a specific course that you must complete before you can take another course at the next grade level.
- Cumulative scope: draws directly from all nine Major World Religions courses, testing comprehension across the entire track rather than any single religion.
- Format: 25 objective questions (single choice/true-false), auto-graded, plus 5 instructor-graded discussion questions.
- Open-book, no time limit: reference your course notes, downloadable course PDFs, and Bible throughout.
- Passing standard: 70% or higher combined score, matching the Academy-wide standard applied to every course quiz.
- Completion of all nine Major World Religions courses (Judaism through Mormonism) with a passing score of 70% or higher on each.
- Enrollment in this exam is by manual admin enrollment only, for students actively pursuing the Ministerial Ordination Program — it does not appear in the general course catalog.
- Access to a Bible (NKJV) and your downloaded MWR course PDFs for open-book reference.
- No additional preparation beyond your original coursework is required — the exam tests material already covered in the nine MWR courses.
- Students in the Academy's Ministerial Ordination Program who have completed the full Major World Religions track and are ready to certify their comprehension of it.
- Not intended for casual or general MWR course-takers — access is restricted to Ministerial Ordination Program candidates by manual enrollment.
- Students seeking to demonstrate comparative-religion competency as part of ministry credentialing.
