Understanding Your Certificates & Credentials
Every course you complete on the Academy automatically generates a “Certificate of Completion.” This certificate simply confirms you finished a course — it carries no formal weight or accreditation on its own. The credentials that matter — the Diploma in Advanced Biblical Studies and Ministerial Ordination — are awarded separately, at the sole discretion of the RBA Administrators, after they personally review the quality of your Assignment (essay) answers.
A Note on Accreditation
The Remnant Bible Academy is not an accredited seminary, Bible college, or degree-granting institution, and none of our credentials — Certificates, Diplomas, or Ministerial Ordination — carry government or denominational accreditation. This is a deliberate choice, not an oversight. Accreditation measures an institution’s paperwork; it has never measured the truth of what’s taught within it. What you learn here stands or falls on Scripture itself, not on the approval of an accrediting board, and we hold every lesson to that standard without exception.
1. Basic Program
Cost: Free
Enrollment: Open to all courses. Our RBSC courses (Levels 1–3) must be taken in order, each passed with a 70% or higher score, before advancing to the next — this applies to every student, in every program. All other courses have no prerequisites.
Assignments: Not mandatory
This program is for anyone who wants to study the material for personal growth without pursuing a formal credential. You may enroll in any course you like and take it at your own pace.
As you complete each course’s quiz, the system automatically issues you a Certificate of Completion. This certificate simply says “I did this” — it does not carry the weight of a Diploma and is not reviewed or endorsed by RBA leadership.
Important: Assignments (Essay Questions) are optional in this program — but the system still requires something typed in the answer box to mark a course as finished. If you choose not to answer an Assignment, type N/A in the answer field. If you leave it blank, the system will not record the course as completed and you will not receive your certificate.
2. Diploma Program
Cost: Free (a one-time $25 donation to the Ministry is requested only if you’d like a printed, mailed copy of your Diploma, to cover printing and shipping)
Curriculum: The full Remnant Bible Study Course (RBSC) — Levels 1 through 3, completed in sequential order
Assignments: Mandatory — all Essay Questions must be answered thoroughly and correctly
The Diploma Program follows the same course structure as the Basic Program, with one key difference: Assignments are required. As you complete each course’s quiz, you’ll still automatically receive that course’s Certificate of Completion — that part of the system doesn’t change.
The Diploma itself, however, is not automatic. It is awarded only after the RBA Administrators have personally reviewed every Assignment across your coursework and determined that you have shown a real, correctly-articulated understanding of the material in your own words.
GPA Requirement: A 70% or higher score on objective testing is required at every level to advance
Final Exit Exam: Required to complete the Diploma track — 50 objective questions (40 single-choice + 10 true/false) plus 6 mandatory essays.
Outcome: Diploma in Advanced Biblical Studies, issued by The Remnant Bible Academy
3. Ministerial Ordination Program
Cost: $300.00 (USD), flat
This program is for those called to formal leadership, preaching, or pastoral ministry. It follows the same academic foundation as the Diploma Program — full RBSC coursework, the 70% GPA standard, mandatory Assignments, and the Final Exit Exam — plus additional requirements specific to ordination:
- Major World Religions course, consisting of 9 total courses, completed in addition to the core RBSC curriculum
- Theological Dissertation — a formal paper of at least 5 pages on a theological topic of your choosing
- Ministry Practicum — a video recording of yourself preaching a sermon or delivering a teaching (in a church setting with a live audience, at home, or in a private setting; we’re evaluating clarity of message and Biblical soundness)
- Final Oral Exam — a concluding oral examination with RBA Leadership, covering the totality of the Program’s requirements
Outcome: Ministerial Ordination & Diploma, awarded by the RBA Administrators upon successful completion and review of all coursework, the dissertation, the practicum, and the final oral exam with RBA Leadership

The RBSC Core Curriculum
The Remnant Bible Study Course (RBSC) is the required academic foundation for every student, regardless of which Program you choose. To maintain academic integrity, the three levels must be completed in order — Level 1, then Level 2, then Level 3 — each passed with a GPA of 70% or higher before advancing. This is the only course sequence at RBA with prerequisites; all other courses may be taken in any order:

Grading & Assignment Review
- Objective test questions (single-choice and true/false) are scored numerically — a 70% score or higher is required to pass.
- Assignments (Essay Questions) are not scored numerically. They are evaluated on the quality, depth, and accuracy of the answer, as judged by RBA leadership.
- Detailed test-taking rules (open-book format, one attempt, no saved progress, academic integrity/plagiarism policy, and retake requests through RBA Administration) are provided separately at the start of each course.
Physical Diploma & Ordination Copies
Digital credentials are provided at no cost. If you’d like a high-quality, printed parchment copy mailed to you, it’s available for a one-time $25.00 donation to It Ain’t Over Ministries to cover materials and postage.
For students in the Ministerial Ordination Program, the cost of both printed, mailed copies — the Diploma and the Ordination certificate — is already included in the $300.00 program fee, at no additional charge.
