Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Do I need any prior theological training to take courses at The Remnant Bible Academy?

No. Our courses are built for serious students, not necessarily seminary graduates. What matters is a willingness to engage closely with Scripture and a readiness to be challenged — not a prior degree.

What Bible translation do your courses use?

All Scripture quoted and referenced throughout our courses is from the New King James Version (NKJV). We recommend having a copy on hand — physical or digital — before beginning any course.

Are your courses self-paced, or do they run on a set schedule?

Every course is self-paced. Lessons are broken into focused Parts so you can move through the material in manageable sessions, on your own schedule, without a deadline pressure.

What’s the difference between the three course categories?

The Remnant Bible Study Course is our flagship, comprehensive curriculum. Major World Religions is a set of nine courses examining major world belief systems through a Biblical lens. Focused Studies is a growing collection of courses on specific doctrines, practices, and questions.

Is there a cost to enroll?

All current courses at The Remnant Bible Academy are offered free of charge. The one exception is our Ministerial Ordination Program, which carries a one-time fee of $300.

Do I get a certificate when I finish a course?

Yes. Each course includes a Certificate of Completion once you’ve finished all lessons and passed the required quiz(zes), and assignments.

How do quizzes work, and can I retake one if I don’t pass?

All quizzes are limited to one attempt, shown on the course page before you begin. Once you’ve completed the quiz, if you fail it, you can reach out to an Instructor and request to retake a quiz. Quiz retakes are allowed on a case-by-case basis. If you are allowed/permitted to retake a quiz, the score from the quiz retake will be the one that stands on your student record. For this reason, all of our quizzes are open book, open lesson quizzes, so we encourage reviewing the lesson material carefully before attempting a quiz, and any assignments.

Can I go back and review lessons after I’ve completed them?

Yes. Once you’re enrolled, you retain access to all lesson content, so you can revisit any Part at any time.

Is there a way to connect with other students?

Yes — the Berean Fellowship is our Private Student Only Community for students to discuss coursework, ask questions, and encourage one another as they study.

Who teaches the courses?

Courses are taught by David Fore, Founder & Lead Instructor, and James Burch, Co-Founder & Instructor. You can read more about both on our RBA Instructors tab in the About drop-down menu.

I noticed some course content touches on other religions or difficult subjects. What’s your approach to that material?

Our Major World Religions courses examine other belief systems honestly and respectfully, always through a Biblical lens — the goal is to help you understand what others believe and why, so you can engage thoughtfully rather than react from ignorance.

I’m having a technical issue with a course or quiz — who do I contact?

Reach out through our Tech Support page, located in your User Menu (click your profile picture in the top right corner), and we’ll get back to you as soon as we can.
